Beth Gilbert

Fuel Assistance Director

Beth Gilbert started at Southern New Hampshire Services as the Weatherization Program Assistant in 2009. At the time her position was a 3-year grant, but Beth’s hard work and dedication got her promoted to Weatherization Coordinator in 2013. While working in the Weatherization department Beth also took on the role of Lead Outreach Specialist in conjunction with the City of Nashua and completed her Lead Renovate, Repair and Painting Certification along with the Healthy Homes Rating System Certification. Beth educated thousands of families on the hazards associated with lead paint with an emphasis on getting children under 6 tested for lead poisoning. During her tenure with Weatherization Beth was invited to join the first SNHS Emerging Leaders initiative and played a key role in the implementation of the New Hampshire Healthy Homes Strategic planning.

In 2014 Beth took on a new challenge in elderly housing and became a housing manager. She passed her Certified Occupancy, Tax Credit and Tax Credit Advanced certifications. In 2016 Beth participated in the opening of SNHS’s newest 31 unit Tax Credit property, Salmon Brook Senior Housing, in Nashua NH resulting in full occupancy in less than 2 months.

In 2019 Beth came back to her Energy roots to become the Fuel Assistance Program Director. Beth’s diverse background and her ability to adapt and grow has helped her prepare for this role. She looks forward to enhancing the program to reach more NH families in need.
