Raymond NH – Southern New Hampshire Services (SNHS), the community action partnership for Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties, has begun generating donations through the Hannaford Giving Tag Program.
The Hannaford Giving Tag Program, which launched in February 2020, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
When a shopper purchases the $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag in the Raymond store, SNHS will receive $1. This ongoing opportunity can be taken advantage of at any Hannaford store simply by purchasing a $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger bag, and following the instructions on the attached Giving Tag.
"Being recognized by Hannaford as an agency that adds value to the community in which we serve is an honor," explains Val Carignan, Nutrition Director for the community action agency. "It’s our pleasure to help in any way that we can, whether it be through our food pantry, WIC programming, Fuel and Electric programs, Child Development and more."
