Job Description

This position is a temporary project-based position providing coordination and administrative support for projects within the Human Resources Department. Responsible for the formatting, editing and set up of job descriptions and data in system files. Coordinating with department heads on revisions and information related to position and job description information. Strong knowledge of principles, methods and practices of Human Resources. Ability to multitask and track information flow.

Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Director

Exercised: None.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Convert older job descriptions to newly formatted job description template.
  • Review, edit and create all job description content for accuracy, detail, phrasing, spelling and consistency.
  • Maintain computer file of updated work and integrate multiple electronic files into a primary location.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of Human Resources processes, methods and content.
  • Must be able to multi task and investigate and follow through with information gathering.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel when needed.
  • Will maintain professional boundaries with all current, past, and prospective clients, and maintain the confidentiality of clients and staff, in accordance with SNHS policy and procedure.
  • Abide by all SNHS Safety policies and procedures.
  • Present professional and positive image as a representative of SNHS.
  • Responsible for having adequate knowledge of all SNHS programs and will gather sufficient intake information to make referrals to other SNHS programs which are beneficial to the client and his/her family.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Computer literate in such programs as, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Operate office equipment including, but not limited to, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, deadline/detail-oriented environment
  • Ability to self-manage multiple tasks
  • Highly organized

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Human Resource experience 1-3 years
  • Administrative experience 1-3
  • College degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Human Resources experience 3-5 years
  • Administrative experience 3-5 years
  • Ability to multitask, Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized, Excellent computer skills
  • College degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
