New Hampshire has one of the largest aging populations in the country with a variety of changes in their everyday lives. Mental health concerns are often overlooked or underserved in our communities - and access to assistance through these issues is often unavailable or unknown.
Governor Sununu Proclaims May 2021 as Community Action Month
Governor Chris Sununu has proclaimed May 2021 as Community Action Month in the state of New Hampshire. 2021 marks the 57th year since the Community Action Network was established to help American families and communities overcome obstacles to economic stability.
Over 1000 agencies across the country are working every day to create opportunities and transform the lives of their neighbors making communities stronger and helping families across the US thrive. Southern New Hampshire Services is one of five Community Action Agencies in New Hampshire.
Head Start & Early Head Start Now Accepting Applications
Do you have children under four whom you would like to set up for success? At Southern New Hampshire Services, our Head Start and Early Head Start programs have begun to accept applications for the 2021-2022 school year. These programs provide educational and family support services to over 500 children and families in the southern tier of New Hampshire with programs offered in Manchester, Nashua, Derry, Greenville, Hillsboro, Raymond and Seabrook.
