Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Grant
The City of Nashua received funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Grant. The City of Nashua has contracted with SNHS to conduct lead hazard outreach and educational workshops related to lead poisoning and prevention targeting low to moderate income households within the City of Nashua. The grant program is from June 2012- May 2015 with a goal of reaching at least 1500 individuals. Since the start of the program, 1338 individuals have received information about the dangers, detection and removal of lead paint.
